<p>Listen I got into CU early this year (engineering) and I have a few tips:</p>
<p>In your essays show interest in the institution… They want people who really like the institution and want to go there.</p>
<p>For example in my essays I kept talking about how wonderful CU was in the open house. The truth is I loved CU and thats why I want ot go there so it was easy for me to give off that impression in my essays.</p>
<p>I was accepted to Cooper a few years ago and didn’t spend much time on the part 2. For some of the questions I only had one or two line responses. It’s a numbers game first and foremost.</p>
<p>I had a 94 or 95 average, 1410 sat, high 700s for math II and low 700s for chem, physics, bio SAT II. What helped me was I attended a well known rigorous high school.</p>
<p>Sorry I don’t remember my exact numbers. It’s been 8 years!</p>
