How important is SAT 2 Physics score ?

One student got 640 for SAT 2 Physics and 800 in SAT 2 math. How bad it is for
admission at Harvard U just from SAT 2 perspective ? Does he need to take another STA 2 Physics
exam ?

Harvard (and YP) no longer require SAT 2 scores. If you don’t submit SAT 2 scores, your application will be considered without them. As Harvard allows for score choice, I would just submit the 800 in Math and not report the 640. See: https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/apply/application-process/sat-subject-tests

Thank you. The student took AP Physics 1 course which is half of what SAT 2 physics exam had.
