How important is SAT 2 scores

Will SAT scores in the late 500s hurt my chance into getting into Columbia University?

Probably, unless you have gotten a few 700++ on other subject tests. At least 2 700++s anyways

sorry to say it but yes…colleges give equal weight to sat 2’s and sat 1…
good luck

well i would say that ^

but they are important (i got 800 US 800 Bio, 730 IC : P )

at my school everyone gets 800 on US and Bio so i cant see how thats as important as the SATs where people rarly get that high

and i aint going to Columbia either

They are very important, but not as much a GPA, SAT I, and rank.

They are less important than SAT 1s, but more important than SAT 3s >_>

um, yeah a high 500 will hurt you unless you have good marks on enough others that they may not look at it.

General rule of thumb for sat2s for top 20 schools, between 670 to 770 neutral, bellow hurt, above help. I just made that up though so may not be accurate.
