How important is learning vocabulary on the ACT?

not really at all

it could help once in great while, but don’t allocate any of your precious time into it.

I don’t believe that it’s as essential as it is on the SAT. It would still serve as a benefactor if one new a sufficient amount though.

the vocabulary is not that important.

Not important at all imo, I’m terrible at vocabulary and managed a 30 on reading and english.

Most of the words are pretty elementary too.

Not important.
All you need to be able to do is understand the vocab in passages in reading. Practice with a few reading tests and see how well you can comprehend them.

Not important

vocabulary is not important at all. there usually is one question or two that asks for the definition, but even if you don’t know what the word means, and you have decent reasoning skills, you can figure it out through context. And if not, it’s not a big deal because it’s like one or two questions. My advice and most would probably agree… don’t worry about it.
