I have heard some rumors that if you have a near perfect score, you have a near perfect chance at getting into Brown. I am not sure, can anyone confirm this?

...i would say that is false? i mean, doing well, or even really well, on the SAT certainly won't hurt your chances, but it definitely won't give you a "nearly perfect" chance of getting in. the same probably goes for GPA.

I'd say false as well. I really do think it's a combination of factors. I know someone with near perfect SAT's who was rejected.

That's what reason made me believe as well, but I have heard it on occasion.
