If you have a roughly 4.75 UC GPA, 2300 SATs and 750 plus SAT 2s? Do you just need something to put down or do you have to show leadership, passion, etc.

With those stats you will most likely get into every UC you apply to, regardless of your ec's. Just write a good essay. A relative of mine got into UCLA (but not Cal) last year with slightly lower stats than yours and minimal community service (less than 25 hours) and basically no ec's. You will be ELC, which should help a lot. Good luck.

^Yeah, but if you don't have killer stats like those, will great ECs (ones that show passion in something) help?

A 4.75 UC GPA is impossible; the highest is a 4.4.

And no, scores/GPA alone won't get you in. You need at least some ECs. (I think about half of those with a 4.0 or higher were rejected this past year.)

Oh yea, i meant 4.25.

lol yeah i was like :O daaang...
