I've been accepted to both schools but as days draw nearer it seems I may have to go to UCR seeing as I didn't meet my math transfer lever req.

If I was to attend UCR one year but apply to trasnfer out of there...i know piority goes to CCC transfers but...

how impossible is it?

Or other UCs for that matter such as UCI or UCSD?

It’s not impossible, but it makes your chances of transfer MUCH MUCH lower. With budget cuts and everything as shaky as it is, I would try to optimize my chances of getting into UCLA by staying at a CC (or finish the math req over the summer), unless you would like to stay at UCR.

UCR is the only school I currently know of that will allow me to take that math course at my CC in the summer to still be admitted in the fall.

Other schools ive been accepted to are UCLA, UCI, UCSD, UCSB

Well schools usually make these decisions on a case by case basis, you should actually tell the school admission your situation and get their official reaction.

Edit: Sorry if that wasn’t helpful. I still would recommend staying at a CC if you want to transfer somewhere other than Riverside

Thats what i’ve been trying to do this morning. I call UCLA admissions, along with UCI, UCSD and UCSB…but just about every school I called refers me to the online website…like the My UCI site where it says I an email my appointed UCI/UCLA/etc counselor directly.

upon visiting the site its a bit confusing though I think I did email my UCI counselor…the thing that sucks is that it says it can take up to 2 weeks for a response.

Well if you already dropped the math class you were doing poorly in, you can report the change to UCLA and get their response/what you have to do next though the reporting changes form at: [New Bruins - Reporting Changes - Transfer Students - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Changes_Transfer.htm). Yes, it will take about 1-2 weeks.

Thats the thing that sucks though, I didn’t drop the class, i’m still in it. I stayed in in the hopes of doing well but math has never been my friend.

I’m committed now to getting an “F”
