Are you planning to be a linguistics major? I mean, it’s absolutely impressive. If you pair it with a good GPA and SATs, not to mention ECs, letters and essays…you have a better chance than many because it’s unique to be able to speak so many languages. However, it’s not enough to get you in all on its own accord.

I know that I can’t get into college with JUST that, but I want to show colleges that I’m really passionate about perspective (it’s what I’m writing my essay on as well). Will they be at least a bit impressed?
btw I’m learning these on my own, except for latin which is from school.

c’mon guys, 105 views and only one reply??

That is very impressive, haha. Atleast to me, I’m terrible at learning languages. I think that if you’re really passionate about that and you like it, it’s great for your college app. Remember if you put it in your essay though, make it personal. Don’t just brag about it(even though it is something to be bragged about lol), and I guess perspective is a good theme if you can write about it well. Convey yourself and what it means for you to learn all these different languages. Maybe there’s a backstory behind it? A reason why? You’ll do great :)
