How international is NU?

Many universities claim that they are international, i.e. lots of different ethnicities, backgrounds, but in reality is NU?

Is NU the kind of place where it's meant to be international, but if we faced the facts most of the 'internationals' would be minorities (such as asian and/or orientals, eastern Europeans) brought up in America, or are there people from all over the world?

I know this isn't unique just to NU, but I am curious of your personal experiences with NU. Please only people who go to NU.

There're plenty of kids from other countries, though many have some tie to the US (were born here randomly). I know one girl who has Nigerian and US citizenship, but her entire family has UK and Nigerian, and she lives in the UK when not at school.

It depends who you hang out with, but it's international enough- more so than a state school would be, anyway.

I was wondering about this too. hopefully more ppl answer

I feel like NU might not have as many international students compared to east-coast schools like the ivies or georgetown...
