How is admissions going to be affected by the budget cuts?

<p>Will it be harder to get in this year compared to last year? Are UC's taking less transfers? Are there fewer spots?</p>

<p>I could be wrong, but I remember reading something in another topic about fewer freshman applicants being admitted.</p>

<p>Rumor is that the transfer spots wont be cut. Maybe a few freshman spots will be cut… thats the rumor.</p>

<p>Freshmen oos admission will be increased and ca residents will be decreased.</p>

<p>Transfers will not be affected but the amount of TAG’s being handed out in the coming fiscal year will decrease.</p>

<p>A UCB rep told me last month that the budget cuts will not impact transfer admissions. We’re a lucky bunch…</p>
