Ok, I know there are 75 MC questions, then a section on writing equations (15 points max), then a section with math problems (do 1 mandatory and pick 1 of 2, for a total of 18 points max), then a free response section where you pick 3/5 questions to answer (max of 24 points)

How is each section weighted? Basically, if I have my raw scores from a practice test, how do I convert them to an actual weighted score and what are the point spreads for a 4 and for a 5?

Thanks

MC = 45 percent
FR = 55 percent
parts of FR and thier weight
FR part a (equilibrium) = 20 percent
FR B (two choices) = 20 percent
FR C (equations) = 15 percent
FR D (essays + lab question) = 45 percent

I'll give you a really specific method.
this is for 2002 AP chem test.
first MC
(number correct-wrong/4).96=weighted MC
FRQ really complicated
question 1 score out of 10 * 1.76
question 2 or 3 score out of 101.76
question 4 out of 150.88
question 5 out of 101.32
question 6 out of 81.65
question 7 or 8 out of 81.65
add all of them up
107-160 5
85-106 4
61-84 3
42-60 2
0-41 1

Are there any mutliple choice avaiable to practice on besides the common one, I think it was 94.
