How is APUSH exam scored?

What raw score out of 80 do I need on the multiple choice in order to score in the low 4, but not borderline 3-4 [just a little higher], with 6/9 on all three essays?

I think I have found a way to get a 4.

<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_set.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_set.html</a>
This site shows the 2001 and 2002 range for a 4 on the APUSH exam. In 2001 the range was 92-113 out of 180. In 2002 the range was 94-114 out of 180. If I can get 100 out of a possible of 180 points, I will get a 4.

Multiple choice is 50% of the AP grade, and the three essays is the other 50%.

MC = 80 max
[MC Raw Score] * 90/80 = 90 max MC Scaled Score

DBQ = 15 max
Essay 1 = 9 max
Essay 2 = 9 max
Total Essay Raw Score = 33

[Total Essay Raw Score] * 90/33 = 90 max Essay Scaled Score

Total Scaled Score = 90 MC + 90 Essay = 180. This yields a maximum 180 points if you get everything correct. This demonstrates that my formula works to a certain degree but not sure if Collegeboard actually uses this.

Here is my goal to achieving a 4:
MC Raw Score = 36
DBQ = 10
Essay 1 = 6
Essay 2 = 6
Total Essay Raw Score = 22

MC: 36 * 90/80 = 40
Essay: 22 * 90/33 = 60
Total: 100 <---- This combination gives me 100!! which is enough for a 4.

Looks good!

All I know is that there is never a set score (like the SAT's) because some years' tests are harder than others.
