I recently read about Broadreach's summer programs and the South Africa Wildlife Studies program sounds perfect for me. It's about 2 weeks of working with conservationists and studying species in South Africa. This is what I want to do as a career so it is immensely interesting to me. I just have some questions about Broadreach before I apply.

First of all, do you even "apply?" On their website, they have you "Enroll." Does this imply that anyone can get in and it's not a competitive academic program?

Also, what can you tell me about their financial aid for needy students?

And lastly, I have heard that the programs are more like fun vacations than academic experiences. Is this true? Would a program like this look good on a college application?

If anyone cares, this is the specific program I'm interested in: South Africa Wildlife Studies and Safari Teen Trip | Broadreach

Thanks for any feedback you can give!
