<p>i am BACK and blacker than ever! I say this b/c i was in South Carolina for a week...and also...because...get this...I went to Tufts' Admitted Students Days...FOR MINORITIES.</p>
<p>AHAHHAHA I STILL CAN'T GET OVER IT.</p>
<p>On the bus, I was the only white girl and thought nothing of it until this girl Julie goes "So...are you just a really light-skinned Hispanic?"
Me: "What? No, i'm white as hell."
Julie: "then what are you doing at Minority Weekend??!?"
Me: "....what?"
Julie hands me the brochure for the program...on it it talks about celebrating diversity at Tufts, which I'm all for.
Then on the inside I see the words, in tiny print: "This is a program designed to attract students of color to Tufts."</p>
<p>But, you know me. I make friends under any circumstances, it's not like I was uncomfortable around these awesome kids or anything. But as a result I ended up bonding with this other white guy who also missed the memo about Minority Day lol.</p>
<p>Aaaaaand I'm sooo not ready for the BC Calc AP exam after tomorrow...</p>

<p>lol graci glad i can make your day. i sent my deposit in to Tufts but there is a very good chance that I will get into Columbia off the waitlist for reasons I can't disclose on a public forum (nothing illegal, i promise!) </p>
<p>it just makes me sad, reading that other thread about less < than or whatever...Dartmouth, in my mind, is so superior to Columbia...oh well, maybe i'll pull a slipper and transfer into D from C lol.</p>
