how is Carnegie Mellon for pre-med?

is carnegie mellon a good school for pre-med? i know it is mostly known for computer sciences, but apparently it has a good psychology department that oversees the cognitive science major that i want to take.

i'm also looking at umich and usc for pre-med. i don't even know which school has the most "prestige" although i'd guess CMU would be.

Any school can be fine for pre-med because pre-med is not a function of the school, but a function of the student.

You should pick a place because you think you'll do well, not because the school itself offers an advantage. Any school "advantage" is filtered through you, the applicant.
