<p>Outside of the film school, is it viewed as an up and coming LAC? Has anyone outside of Southern California even heard of it? If so, what is its image?

<p>I'm wondering about this too. Specifically their film & advertising/pr programs. Many people in state havn't heard of Chapman, but their film school is becoming very competitive, and the faculty and facilities are outstanding.</p>

<p>I'm from Orange County, so I do have an insider's perspective, whether that's good or bad. Chapman has a very good reputation locally, and its prestige is growing nationwide. Give it a few years; you'll be quite proud to say you went there. These guys have TONS of money to spend on new programs, etc. Chapman is definitely going places!</p>
<p>Im also from Orange county, but i dont think that Chapman has that great a reputation here. Most people do know about the school, but it is not known as a top school at all. A lot of realy dunb people get in there...its pretty easy to get in.</p>
