I want to major in finance. Does CMU have a good business program? How difficult is it to get accepted? And, do most students find good jobs after graduation or move on to a graduate school?

Very good undergrad b-school, especially for finance. Not for the mathematically challenged though.

~15% acceptance rate. You be the judge. Applicant pool is competitive, but not particularly stacked like an Ivy’s.

I think 9 at Citi, 5 at UBS, 3 at BoAML, 2 at McKinsey, and a kid at DRW Trading(!!!) is legit. Keep in mind that this is a small class size and not everyone is in finance.

Sorry for the bump, but can anyone explain the strange grad-universities listing?

The objective for most b-school undergrads is to land a job instead of further education. Grad-school a lot of the time means that business just wasn’t for them. Exceptions to that would be that placement into Columbia MFE
