how is computer science at howard?

<p>How is computer science at howard? is it tier-1. Also, how are d facilities? and the faculty? Also, how are the internship opportunities?</p>

<p>It’s rather strange that a stanford wannabe is looking at howard.</p>

<p>But personally, their CS department rather crappy. Their upper level classes seem rather limited to applied programming, and with almost no upper level theory courses to speak of. And their courses seem pretty limited in scope. No courses focusing on graphics, scientific computation, artificial intelligence/machine learning, computational linguistics, compilers, numerical analysis, computer architecture, cryptography, bioinformatics, machine vision, etc.</p>

<p>@Ray192: well i applied to stanford and several of the ivies. But I could not get into any. Anyway, I got into Howard and I thought Howard was good at Computer Science. Guess I was wrong.
@ChoklitRain: so all hbcus aint goood at engineering. not howard. not spellman. waow. that’s strange. wonder why?</p>
