If U of Chicago is good in economics and etc…
What are Cornell’s strongs and weaknesses?
Although Cornell is easiest to get in than the rest of the Ivies, a student should be like top 5% and 2000+ on sats right…?

Its known as the easiest to Ivy League to get in, and the hardest to graduate from. Why? Because it's hard, damn hard. However relative to many other institutions, it is still a difficult school to get in I suppose.

The curves, especially in engineering and the sciences, are brutal. And you will be competing against some of the brightest students in the nation.

Strengths:
Engineering/Sciences
Nationally and Internationally Known

Weaknesses:
Harsh curves (some would consider it one)

Hotel administration (basically any good for any job in the service industry, if I understand correctly), and architechture are two of its other strengths. In the sciences, biology is especially good.

BTW, you'd probably get better responses posting on the Cornell board, as there are many current and former students who post there.

thanks alot guys :) I will try to post this on the Cornell Board

Physics Is Pretty Good Too

Many people consider Cornell to the the worst out of the ivies, IMO it is only behind HYP and columbia, so do not be misled by the fact that it is easiest to get into b/c it is def. better than Penn/Brown IMO.

Cornell's strength is Engineering

It is famous internationally for Architecture
