How is Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute? vs. at Stevens Institute of Technology?

You should visit them and find out for yourself! My son looked at Stevens as a potential science major, but it is really more of an engineering school. He liked it, though. Stevens uses a cooperative education model in Engineering, where you’re going to get real-world experience before you graduate. Stevens is a much smaller school than RPI, with a very compact but beautiful campus. You can’t beat the view of NYC, either! Stevens also offered a superior merit aid package to my son compared to RPI, making it a much more affordable possibility. Good luck with your choice!
