<p>Right now I am nervous and anxious about attending UCSD this fall.</p>
<p>At least UCSD starts in two months. Cal starts in less than a month. I feel underprepared. :-S </p>
<p>I’m looking forward to starting school this fall. I guess I’ll feel more anxiety as the fall quarter approaches.</p>
<p>Really excited now that I’ve registered for classes! I’m sure I’ll start getting anxious in like a month or so

<p>@cayton, anthropology 130 and 172A plus that Scandinavian film class (166). I made out pretty well considering I got my #1 and #3 ranked anthro classes . When is your orientation?</p>

<p>Nice! My orientation is August 15th, the 205 session.</p>
<p>I plan to register for two philosophy courses and an elective, perhaps a history/sociology/anthropology class. </p>
<p>By the way, BruinWalk is basically the RatemyProfessbors for UCLA students. I suggest you use it if you haven’t already.</p>

<p>Oh cool! So only a couple more weeks. I’ve been on BW before and I like those grade distribution charts. I wish they had more of those. </p>
<p>Looks like 2 of my teachers have great reviews while the other is ok (although this class has a take home essay for final.) I’m just wondering what the discussion sessions are going to be like with the TA. </p>

<p>That’s good to hear.</p>
<p>And I’ve heard that those discussion sessions can be helpful, but can also be annoying sometimes because certain students may dominate the session by asking a million questions.</p>
<p>And don’t forget that TAs vary in quality and helpfulness, too. </p>
<p>I hope I get chill TA’s. I’m assuming they do most of the grading too. </p>

<p>I’m almost certain that we’ll all get our fair share of decent TAs, great TAs, and TAs you wish would die in a fire or something.</p>
<p>They’re usually pretty young, though, so maybe they’ll mostly be alright.</p>
<p>Ya I’m 22 so they might be around that age lol. </p>
<p>I’m very nervous, especially because apparently the first upper div for my major is notoriously difficult haha. Other than that I’m excited I will be attending my dream school
