How is GPA calculated for transfer students?

<p>I currently have a 3.67 overall, 4.0 program GPA, and will receive my AA this semester. I am also applying currently. If I get into UF, do I get to keep this GPA, or do you basically just start clean again?</p>

<p>For example, if I earned 4 A's in my first semester at UF, does that mean I would have a 4.0 GPA?</p>
