how is grad school like?

should you go if you're interested in learning more about something and specializing? how should you consider the employment afterwards? and how is it different/similar to undergrad?

i used to think i could just get a job after undergrad. but i explored a lot, and i don't feel satisfied with my undergrad education. i do want to specialize. i don't know what now, but i have a slight idea of what i wanted to learn more about. i probably should do some internships/work before i go to grad school. see, i took too many english/science/math/chinese classes. but now i wish i took more philosophy/criminology/psychology classes (minus the chinese), because that's what i'm starting to lean into. i have 1.75 more years left. i'm a little scared to explore, because i need to graduate with a major, and i'm a little far behind the requirements for any major. should i stay behind a little bit and allow myself time to explore? i'm thinking just summer school and maybe 1 or 2 more quarters extra after graduation. i made the mistake of trying to rush and graduate. :(

Stay in undergrad and explore. Grad school is for people who already know for certain they want to do something in that area and have a research agenda of some sort. You aren't there yet. I'd rather have an extra year or two of undergrad and leave with a plan.

This is the last real time where you won't have responsibilities clawing at you and you can explore without any "real" consequence. You have some interests in other things, I would wholeheartedly suggest you take those classes and see what happens.
