How is your school recognized in your area (state) such as awards, by winning competitions in, athletics, math comps. etc.

our B-ball team was good this year. Our CC team has won states for the past 3 or 4 years. Women's swimming is strong and has won states before. The QB from our f-ball team is going to play for michigan next year. Our debate is very good as well

Drew is the only one with a school that has good accomplishments.

"The second least diverse school in the county." Supposedly we're the pot head school too. A pretty sad reputation on both counts...

Lots of academic stuff. Science Club, Debate League, Math Team, Academic Decathlon, Future Problem Solvers, We the People, Model UN, Model Congress... apparently our music department wins awards and stuff too.

Our girls' varsity lacrosse is nationally ranked #1, I believe.

lemme guess....mcdonough or mt hebron?

yea, my school is recognized for its unusually high pregnancy and dropout rate

lets see, both our buys and girls cross country teams cracked the top 15 in the country this year. our girls soccer team is perennial one of the best in the west, our tennis team usually wins state, as does boys swimming.
in academics, we're also close in science olympiad, TEAMS, and other science competitions. i think our debate team is really good too.
we have the best AP scores in the state and we are also on Newsweek's top 1000, the highest of any other school in the state.
our chamber orchestra, multiple times, was one of two high school orchestras in the country to be invited to some international music conference. It still ranks top in the northwest.

cheer team wins states pretty much every year....cross country has quite a few people run at states, same with track....tennis..decent...and boys swimming is really good....and i guess academics wise, we arent too bad....but we have a lotta stupid people...some kid blew up a toilet today....

Football 4A State Champs, 1996

also, the U of Indiana basketball coach hails from our town (though he quit after this year)

Our varsity basketball team goes undefeated almost every year. At least it's been that way since I entered high school. Our varsity golf team usually wins the league championship every season as well.

Awesome: cheerleading, boys' golf, girls' lacrosse, marching band, winterguard :), academics (one of less than 5 high schools in the state to pass the "No Child Left Behind" requirements).

Not-So-Awesome: excessive drug use stemming from affluence, earning us the nickname "Green Dope" haha, 2nd most expensive parking lot in the country to Beverly Hills High..

our band and colorguard win all these national championships or something. our swimming team was undefeated for around fifty years.

and our football team never wins

Our basketball team is pretty good (I think? People were obsessing about Division 1 championships, but I have no idea how well our team did). And our wrestling team is like number 6 in the state (I think.)

And in math competitions, we had someone get to the AIME. Out of two people. And that's basically it.

My school has the IB program (International Bacculerate) and Hospitality and Tourism Program. We attract many employers and job recruiters to hire our students to work in hotels and casinos. (I live in Las Vegas). This is also means we get perks like free trips to casinos, free meals at the hotels, college reembursement, and internships. (If you're in the Hospitality and Tourism Program.) The biggest perk is having our senior awards night at Ceasars Palace with a free meal.

Drama, sports, music -- all awesome. A bit lacking in the academic arena, but we're decent.
