How is Ivy road looking for this sophmore?bumpy?

Background: Ukrainian born and lived there untill 12 years old
moved to US 4 years ago with prior 4 years of English in school, so spent half a year in ESP, then half a year in level English and then moved on to honors and junior year AP.
raised by mother and grandmother
fluent in three languages including English and currently studying Spanish

Current GPA for sophmore year: 4.8 (my school gives you 5.0 for every H class A and 6.0 for every AP A)
A's in both AP classes
1st semester all A's exept for an 86 in chemistry
Extracurriculars: Literary Club
National Arts Honor Society school president
Math Club
SAT: have not taken yet but from PSAT projections it's between 1800 and 2200...will take this summer.

Plans for junior year: 4 AP classes, 3 honors and college tech course taken at local college to get dual gredit (come on no one wants to jeopardize her GPA with an only level class instead of an extra AP)

Extracurriculars for junior year: Literary Club Vise President
National Arts Honor Society President
Math Club
Hospital aid (candy-striper) for summer 2006

P.S. I know that I have not taken my SATs or ACTs or any of that stuff yet but how is it looking so far? Oh yes, and I want to double major in pre-med and art

theres not enough info

your school has some serious grade inflation
take sat2s as well as sats and do well on them
you should be fine

what other info is needed? Sorry I am fresh from an art competition so I probably did not think of anything else to put

yeah, my school does have GPA inflation in a way but more and more school's are adopting the same system. Usually school's just give you a 4.0 for any class, level or AP right?

"No chances for you! Come back one year." (modified soup nazi quote...)

Seriously though, you need to come back Junior year when things are more definite. The best you can do right now is take the most challenging courses available and get good grades.

thanx..haha the snotty thing cheered me up

Yeah, I agree with everyone else when they say they need more info. Not to sound snobby, of course. The projected SAT range is way too vague to know anything if you want that to be your main indicator. (1800-2200?). And.. SATs aren't given in the summer. Unless you are talking about the June examination.

YEs i am talking about June examination...just wanted to know what my very rough chances were that's all. Some people tend to get kind of stuck up about those things.
Thanks for help,
Mia
