how is linguistics r6 for R&C?

I am trying to fulfill the second half of my R&C requirement. Has anyone taken linguistics r6? How is the workload/difficulty? Did you find the class interesting/enjoyable?

bump~~~~~~~

Is it the endangered langauges one?

yea that’s the one

ok, I’m in that one right now.

It’s…okay. It’s about 15-20 people and taught by a grad student. The workload’s pretty standard for RC–diagnostic, 2 papers, readings, one-pagers…It’s not crazy hard and she’s nice, but some people got D’s on their diag…honestly, if you did fine in R1A, this class should be alright. The readings got a little harder over time but there’s not a lot to read…but you should definitely read them since they’re sources for papers. The class itself is mostly lecture so it gets kinda boring, but if you like languages then it’d probably be more interesting…
