How is M 408D?

I am an incoming freshman and am most likely going to take M 408D. I went up to Cal AB in high school and did well in the class and on the AP test (5). How hard is M 408D? I feel like I have a really good understanding from Cal AB.

Also, how are the teachers for the class? I do not know which one I am going to have, but are all the teachers good or is there a mass difference between the teachers? Thanks.

I just finished M 408D this past spring. I looked up the professors on the course schedule for M 408D and it looks like the only listed professor is a professor who I don’t remember teaching it last year. The rest don’t give a professor name so who knows for those. I got a 4 on my AP exam for math but ended up starting at M 408C instead of claiming credit which I later thought was a mistake on my part. I breezed through M 408C and wish I had have claimed credit and just started at M 408D because M 408D wasn’t near as hard for me as what I heard about it. The difficulty, of course, varies a lot depending on the professor and what your strengths and weaknesses are. I think that if you got a 5 on the Calc AB AP exam then you should be all set to start off with M 408D and do well.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I get a good professor.
