<p>I failed the 2nd midterm, too. It is not really so hard when I look at it again. Anyway, does anyone know what would happen to me if I failed the course? I guess I could repeat it for one time.
Actually, I’m not confident any longer to get a good grade in this class. I’m wondering if I can intentionally get a D or F, then repeat it next semester or summer. C sth or could dramatically drop down the GPA. But D and F would permanently be in the transcript. I’m concerning my graduate study. Would the D and F affect other professional schools except the law schools?</p>

<p>I’m getting like a 6 average on the quizzes. A C- on the very first midterm. And this one… argh I don’t even feel like talking about it.</p>

<p>The material is the same, it’s the mandated curve that is brutal. Across the Bay, for example, the same quiz mean would be a B, as it would at the Ivies. The publics flunk out kids, which is virtually impossible at HYPS. Heck, Stanford even did away with F’s – they don’t exist.</p>

<p>That thought did flash through my head. But nothing I can do now, especially since my GPA’s screwed up and I can’t transfer or anything. So… I’m just going to have to learn how to fail with dignity and love berkeley despite these ridiculous classes :p</p>
<p>btw the grade breakdown is out. Unbelievable. 13 out of 35 was the average. That was a ridiculous test.</p>
