How is my school's CompE program?

I've been thinking lately about my current major, which is CompEng, and i've been wondering whether I should stick to CompEng or switch to CS. The only difference is that there are ece classes that need to be taken in addition to the cse classes. Can anyone who recognizes these classes tell me how my school's CompEng program is?

The courses for the degree are listed here:

-Thanks

There is really no way for any of us to answer that. You cannot tell the quality or even really content of a major at a different university simply by knowing the class names. Even descriptions don't help much. I would talk to an alumni, or someone enrolled in the program now. No one on here (unless they already meet those criteria) is going to be able to help you. Good luck though.

Your classes look alright to me. Lot of opportunity for electives too. But yea there's really no way for us to answer that question without actually attending your classes.

Thanks for your responses. I guess I'm just wondering if the program covers all the general necessities of a "computer engineer." Even with all the descriptions I've read, I'm still not clear on what exactly that is.

CompE's (CE's) are like EE's but specializing in computers. CE's are excellent at embedded systems and can also do just about everything else related to computers. They can program (as good as CS majors and better than most EE majors in my experience), they can work with computer hardware from just about any level, and they can work with computer systems and networks.

One things it's not is a CS major with a hardware focus. CE is really an engineering degree and you need to get it from an engineering school or department. At my school for example we take classes alongside Software Engineers and EE's.

This is my school's CE curriculum, its ABET accredited if that means something to you:
