wait aren't you missing 2nd semester?

my Umich GPA (so far) is a 4.0 even though my actual GPA is 3.9: it is possible...

Well, from what I understand 9th grade grades don't count. You had a few B's in 9th grade, dropping those would raise your overall GPA. For instance, I had a 3.98 UW. It wasn't a 4.0 because of 1 B my freshmen year.....UofM GPA drops that bringing it up to a 4.0. It looks like a similar situation with you.

these are all final grades from those years, isnt that what counts

That's strange... my Umich gpa is 0.05 lower than regular gpa

willovegod:

That's not strange. Your UM GPA is usually lower, since they take out your non-academic classes (which bring up your GPA usually) and they take out weights

is it weird that my Umich gpa is significantly higher, my school is really strange, an A in my school is only a 3.6 and an A+ is 4.0 so when counting both A's and A+'s as 4.0 i seem to get a higher Umich gpa

THEY DONT COUNT FROSH YEAR!
(atleast thats what Ive been told)
