How is Pardee like?

Since tours weren't offer and I haven't been in there. I am interested in the facility itself and what pardee is actually like. I've seen New/North and Birkrant. So is the place much newer/cleaner than New/north? Is the interior the same as Birkrant? Are there elevators? Don't want to sound too specific, but the restrooms and dorms in Birkrant were much nicer than in new/North. Thanks

I lived there 2 years ago (108 baby). The CSC looks like a luxury hotel because it was remodeled, but idk about anything else. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are similar to new/north (if they haven’t changed). I would say it’s generally cleaner than new/north because of less partying going on. New/north is a very social dorm, but you can be really social in pardee if you try, especially if you try to meet a lot of people from different floors during the first days and weeks.

And yes, there are elevators.

The restrooms in Pardee got remodeled two years ago, when I lived there (316). They’re not as nice as the ones in birnkrant, but then again, nowhere is as nice as birnkrant. Less crazy than New/North typically, which is nice (go party and puke at other people’s places). Still can be very social if you want to be.

I remember to showers in Birkrant were huge compare to New/North. So I’m guessing Pardee is somewhere between Birkrant and New/North in terms of facilities?

To my knowledge, yes. Also, Pardee has 4 showers in each bathroom. Rumor has it that they’re big enough for two people lol

The showers in Trojan Hall were big enough for two people. Haha.

Just curious, do you open the dorm rooms by card or regular keys?

Pardee rooms are regular key.

Awww key cards are way cooler. Props for birkrant for that. Thx for answering, I couldn’t really find this out somehow haha

from experience? i kid…

The key card readers are weird and you have to pull out the card slowly. During the first week of school you can see people standing out their door trying multiple times to swipe in before they do it slowly enough.

the key cards become second nature to use its really not a problem

Anybody going to live in Pardee this year?

^^I am! Sixth floor!
