How Is SAT Scored?

My friend gets 800 on Math II; however, he said he did not do two of the questions and left them blank. So to get 800 on SAT, do we have to answer all questions correctly? If no, how many can we miss? Thank you.

Sometimes, you have to get them all right, sometimes you can get one wrong/omitted.

You could definitely omit/get problems wrong on the Math II (I assume the SAT II test). Someone told me that the curve for their test allowed five wrong. On the SAT I though, the curve is much harsher.

for subject tests, the Collegeboard has a book with all the subject tests, and a practice test for each one....

SAT II Math IIC: up to 5 blank (or equivalent) is 800
SAT II Chemistry: up to 4 or 5 blank (or equivalent) is 800
SAT II Physics: up to 9 or 10 blank (or equivalent) is 800

For SAT I, how many questions you can miss and still have that 800 depends on when you take it; typically SATs earlier in the school year (Oct. - Jan.) have easier curves, while those in April and June have harsher ones

Math: 0-1 blank, or equivalent
Critical Reading: 0-2 blank, or equivalent (2 is VERY VERY UNCOMMON)
Writing: with a 12 essay, maybe one blank; with a perfect multiple choice, maybe down to 10 or 11 on the essay
