I like to know how is acceptance rate to med school ?

Acceptance rate to med school has recently been in the low-mid 80’s% range. This is much higher than the national average.

This rate is lower than other comparable schools. However, what you might find in this case, is that Swat does’t dissuade students from applying to med school in the same way many other schools do. I don’t know this to be true at Swat, but it would make sense from what I know about the school. Many other schools actively work on improving their med school admit rate by discouraging students they feel will not succeed from even applying.

Read through the Medical School Advising web site at Swarthmore:
[Swarthmore College :: Health Sciences Office :: Health Sciences Office](Health Sciences Office :: Swarthmore College)
From what I hear, the pre-med advisor Gigi Simeone is very good. As GvaMom says, my understanding is that Swarthmore does not discourage or decline to support the application of any student or alum who wants to apply to med school.

I agree with the above. It is my understanding that Swat does not “weed out.”
