How is the Biological Sciences Program at Fordham?

Hey all,

I know that Fordham has a reputation of being more of a business-type school, and not so much biology. I am planning on becoming either a physical therapist or a doctor in the future, but I never hear much about Fordham's biology program, so I am wondering how good it is. I'd like to go here also because I dance, and I could easily take shuttles into the city to take classes whenever I'd like to in addition to studying at Fordham.

The only question I have is this. I haven't heard a lot of people graduating with Biology degrees from Fordham. Do they have a reputable program? And will I be prepared to apply to grad school after to get my DPT? Will I get a good job with a Biology degree from Fordham most likely? Does Fordham have a good reputation? Like, is it a good school?

Thank you so much for reading this and for your opinions! I really appreciate it!

Fordham has a stellar reputation in just about every possible department from communications/media majors, to liberal arts.to business, and the sciences. Biology majors often apply to medical school and Fordham has a stellar placement record for medical schools. You will be fine.

Overall the broad and deep core requirements will give you a wonderful perspective on life. Fordham students get into top graduate programs in law, medicine, business, liberal arts.
