How is the Biology Subject Test?

I am a Canadian student in Grade 11. I’ve taken Biology 20, so I decided to take the Biology subject test. I bought the Barron’s review book for the Bio SAT 2 but, some of the topics in it were not covered in the course I took. I’m trying my best to learn these new concepts before May, but every time I think I have a great understanding of the topic, I take the quiz at the end of each chapter and get about five questions wrong. So, my question is, how is the actual exam compared to Barron’s? Is there stuff I can omit?

Hey there.
I used Barron’s 5 days before the test and scored a 730 on Bio M.
Barron’s is a good book, but there is a lot of superfluous material. You can skip some parts of the Plants and Evolution chapter (not all of it!). You only need to know the basic structure of the leaf. You can skip the structure of the plant as a whole, and the part describing apoplast and symplast pathways.
In the Evolution chapter, you can skip the Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium, and the theories of Evolution. DO NOT skip the types and charactersitics of selection and evolution.
