Hey. I'm senior at high school right now, and I'm thinking about pharmacy colleges.

I realized that U of M has pharmacy college, and I want to here about it.

Does it have great programs?

If compare to the pharmacy program in Rutgers University in NJ, which is better?

I was just wondering about this, and any answer will be appreciated. :)

Michigan's school of Pharmacy is excellent. It is often rated among the top 10 in the nation. But you cannot apply directly to it. A student must first apply to the college of LSA and then, after 2 years, transfer to the school of Pharmacy. Almost all good students are admitted into the program.

Pfizer has turned Ann Arbor into its Global Research Headquarters, so you can bet that the University of Michigan is going to benefit from that.

I am not familiar with Rutgers. I know it is a decent university and I know that Merck, Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer are all headquartered within 100 miles from Brunswick, but other than that, I am not familiar enough to give you details.

However, I can tell you that as a university, Michigan is generally more highly regarded.
