seems most ppl say kaplan is harder, but i find PR is harder

how about these two compare to the real test?

how about these two compare to the real test?

Most people say PR is a lot closer to the actual test, but not perfect.

The Kaplan book's passages are very easy, as are most of their questions. But some of their questions are so poorly written, that they become very difficult, and many questions have more than one possible answer.

Why does it seem like there is no book (besides BB) that can approximate the difficulty of the real SAT critical reading passage questions??

Thats because the tests in the 'BB' are made by the same people who make the SAT. Lets say they made somewhere around 20 tests and decided to put 8 of them in the book and administer the rest. Get the drift?

I am aware of that. I was just referring to the way there seem to be plenty of math and writing SAT prep books that are quite close to the real SAT math and writing sections (i.e. some are not made by the College Board), but that is not true with the CR section.

Oh, by the way...which is the best Writing section book in your opinion thecomisar?

I think most people say PR is pretty good, but I haven't tried it myself. But as far as the essay part, I don't know that any book can help you that much.

I think the Kaplan Writing Workbook is pretty helpful...just because there's so much practice ini t.

I have that... I got both Kaplan writing, and Kaplan CR, before I heard how allegedly bad they're supposed to be...

then the only dependable one is the blue book i guess
