How is the pre-med program at UNL?

I've been considering this college for a bit now, but want more info on their pre-med program. Before anyone kills me, I know pre-med is not a program. By program, I mean advising, competitiveness, and clinical/research opportunities. Thank you!
In case you don't know (I am also posting this in the premed forum), UNL stands for University of Nebraska- Lincoln.
Also, how many people live in dorms for all 4 years at UNL? Since I will be living far away from friends/family, I need to at least know I have a dorm in case I can't get a job or something.

According to the common data set, only about 15% of domestic, nonFreshman live on campus. I would guess that is mostly sophomores. They do have two suite-style dorms that are specifically for non-freshmen but I don’t know how much of a demand there is for those.

As far as premed, I would call admissions and ask to speak to a premed advisor. They should be able and willing to tell you about clinical and research positions that are available and what kind of placement rate they have for medical schools.
