In last years wait list page I was reading that some people got notified in the middle of the night.

Lol tbh I don’t think the admissions people would release it so late at night
They probably released it at evening time and then people announced they got accepted a few hours later
@waitlisted1234 maybe the emails are on a timer and they got the email in the middle of the night? I really don’t know. Didnt UCSC start releasing their acceptance in March at like 3am? UC’s are super weird.

I don’t know about you guys, but this wait is ridiculous… We’ve been waiting for the longest time already and I just want to know where I’m going to college next year. UCI needs to find a more efficient way of letting us waitlisted students know whether or not we will get off the waitlist… Simply ridiculous
Honestly I’m scared. Pls accept us. I have to put in my dorming soon and idk when I should do it…

I can’t concentrate on my APs. The wait is driving me crazy. I need to submit my housing contract for UCR (my backup school) soon.
When were most of you guys wait listed? Do you think the day and time has anything to do with how high we are on the wait list?
They review every application on the wait list again before they offer admission, I don’t think there is necessarily an order. @blah97blah

@waitlisted1234 I was going to appeal but you needed “new and compelling information” and I didn’t really have any? You know, I’m really scared as well.
