3.98 UC gpa (but i currently have a 4.1 gpa cuz of senior grades)
1880 SAT.
I’m surprised I even got into the waitlist. I thought I was going to get rejected right away because my friend who had a 4.2 gpa and 2020 SAT got rejected /:
If anything, I think the admission officers used today as a day for “organizing” everything! I think if we are getting accepted, we will know by tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed guys !!!
@Howdoiname Honestly we all have similar stats one way or another because we were all waitlisted. I don’t think comparing our stars will get us in (because people with way lower stats than me have gotten accepted as well)
I think they looked a lot at the personal statement
With the waitlist reviewing, apparently they just “relook at each application”
But we’d all probably have similar GPa/ SAT with some variation
So I think the more interesting applications will get in, if any

I know last year they accepted a lot on May 5th
So maybe 5 is the magical number hahah
Check out last year’s thread!! Some didn’t find out on this same Monday of last year, but found out Tuesday of last year!! (Hope that makes sense) I looked back into 2014’s calendar on my phone to see which days are which!

I think UCSD is posting thier wl decisions, because I saw one of my friend posted his acceptance on Wechat 1 hour ago

OH! One more thing! My friend also posted a screen shot of his acceptance email, and I noticed that UCSD said the deadline to accept the offer is May 8. Sooo… I think all UCs probably will release the wl decisions before May 8!

Also, since people are getting accepted to UCSD (and probably other UC’s), they may decline their SIR to UCI ->more acceptances from waitlist
I feel bad that I didn’t opt into the UCSD waitlist. I never really cared about it, but still.

yeah I regret that I didn’t apply to more schools
But it is what it is!! Hopefully we all get off the waitlist
@Oracion @simplysarah02 well on the bright side, the more schools you get waitlisted in, the higher chance you have of getting accepted into at least one, right? =D
