it’s decent. there are some large lecture halls where I can’t get a signal on my iPod (I don’t really carry my laptop around places, so maybe it’s possible with one of those?) it’s probably for the better, since you should be paying attention and not surfing the net. other large lecture halls do have connections, all the dorms should have service by next fall, and the library are excellent as well. I don’t notice any difference in speed between here and at home, where we have broadband.

ive been on wifi in the middle of the street/on the bus/on the sidewalk. theres wifi everywhere

Yep wifi is good. You’ll learn where the dead spots are, as it would be difficult to cover every square inch of the campus, but you can sit on the quads and get Wifi. Overall I’ve never had a serious issue with it.

Most of the res halls have wifi (finally) and every lecture hall + classroom I’ve been in has it, with the exception of Call Auditorium in Kennedy. I’m still convinced this is a plot by the business professors to keep us from going on Facebook during class. I’m an engineering major, business minor, so don’t know about the rest of campus.

Wifi is pretty good around campus, but in my dorm I’ve found that the ethernet is usually faster.

yeah, Call Auditorium is a pernicious one. I don’t have very good luck in Baker 200 either, although there are the occasional glimmers. it’s always improving though, which is nice.

Yep, Call Auditorium sucks for wifi, but that’s about it.

i totally agree. ugh. warren b45 is definitely up there too with call aud.
