<p>So my parents were thinking about getting me an iTouch for my birthday in a few months but I was curious how the wifi is around campus?</p>
<p>Does it only work near certain places or is it pretty much the whole campus?</p>
<p>One of the main reasons why I want it is because of the easy internet access and UF related apps (e.g. RTS transloc)</p>
<p>It’s good as long you’re in/right around a building… the signal gets weak or non existant if you’re outside, for example a lot of times I couldn’t get it standing at some of the bus stops… but I still suggest it, it’s really convenient. Before I got an android phone I used my itouch all the time with the wifi and it was really handy. If you find a certain bus stop you wait at doesn’t have a signal you could always check the trans loc app right before you leave class or something.</p>
