How is UCLA going to release decisions?

Unlike the other UC's I've applied to, I never got an email/letter or anything from UCLA, with the exception of an alumni scholarship email.

Are they going to mail you the decisions? Or email you? or post it online?
And if they post it online, don't you need some kind of login to check?

thanks!

(and I'm really sorry if this is asked already :( )

no one is sure! i guess we get an email ?

they will post it online but i'm not sure if they'll email us... i know UCSD didn't and i only found out from the CC forums.

they post it online without telling you i think. i dont quite remember, it was 2 years ago :p

they also mail you a letter a week later.

last year, they post it online/mail it on the same day. AKA, you get the only confirmation, and later that day, you get a package in the mail. For those of you in norcal/OOS, it may be delayed a few days, but everyone can see online decisions at the same time.

is there like an application status site for UCLA or where would they post it online?

^Search the other threads.

i'm not sure if they've changed it or not, but i could've sworn they did rolling admissions. if so, then not everyone will be able to see their decision immediately.

It's not a rolling admission, they just release them at different times. Rolling admission is where applications are reviewed throughout the year until the school's quota is met (yeah I got the two confused too). I seriously hope they don't release them in batches like Irvine, for the well being of the mental health of many people on this board waiting for the decision to come DX

im tired of waiting. Im thinking they will release monday but im not sure

oh... it must've been in batches then... i know that i definitely found out a lot earlier than the rest of the kids from my HS way back when.

I think the question is, or maybe it's just my question, where do you go to find where the link comes up when it comes up. I mean, do you go to ucla.edu and click on prospective students, or do you go to some other website to look for the link when it's put up?

haha yeah, that was my question too. ^

Don't worry about it. When decisions are out you can be sure there will be a post here with a link and 20 replies by the time your browser loads it.

what the hell is the website
