How is UMD's business program

I am considering going to UMD for either finance, accounting, or marketing. How is the business program? Is it easy to get internships and a job?

I dont know the answer to your last question. But the business program has the reputation as one of the best in the country. It also got a very large endowment last year.

It's a good program and it is nationally recognized. Here's a link for the facts and rankings... http://www.rhsmith.umd.edu/about/facts.html

Thanks for sharing this link. My D. is going to be a sophomore and is applying to the School of Business..right now she is undeclared. I knew it was good..but this is great!

Yup, I've also applied to the umd business school recently. It opens up plenty of great career opportunities after graduation.

i'm in the smith school and i'm all praises. the teachers are great, their advising is prolly one of the best. if there's one school on campus that doesnt need university intervention in improving services, it's smith.

So glad to hear confirmation. I have a freind who is paying $40,000 a year to send her child to USC to major in business..I am like WHY? UMD has a great business school.
D. I think is applying in the fall (was undeclared her first year)
BTW didnt they recently get a lot of scholarship money? Some sort of endowment?

i applied for psychology and have already changed my mind...i think i want to do marketing .i was just wondering how hard will it be for me to transfer into the business school?

what was your SAT M and V joelle?
