Hey, what's up. I'm pretty new to these boards and to the SAT, and I was having trouble figuring out how my scores were calculated. Based off the formula in the princeton review book my math and verbal scores made sense, but not my writting.
According to the PR, grammer raw score + 2 times essay score equals your total writting index. My score report says my raw grammer score was 39 and my essay score was 8.

39 + (2*8) = 55
According to the princeton review this should get me a score of 660-720.
I got 610 which is consiterablly less then the lower margin.

Anyways, just hoping someone could explain how this works to me. Sorry if I missed something really obvious. Thanks,
Fish
