<p>Financially it isn’t going to be much different for us - with the FA package COA is only a couple hundred $ a month more than his high school tuition. The difference will just go to the college instead of our retirement funds for the next few years. </p>
<p>I can’t wait to take vacations in the off seasons when it’s cheaper and go to my parents in Florida more often in the winter. </p>
<p>I’m sure we will go out to dinner more often (DH is afraid I’ll stop cooking altogether but he is wrong, as usual.)</p>

<p>We spend more time at the gym now because of our health or keeping us healthy. Minimal cost(less than $50/month) so we don’t have time to spend our money. We don’t eat out as much and don’t drink expensive wine because we want to preserve our health. Our current lifestyle needs more time and not more money.</p>

<p>Now THAT’S a lifestyle change! But that is exactly when the parents of D2 did when their youngest went off to college. They are having a blast, but the logistics of getting to see the kids for breaks can be a pain…</p>
