How late can I take subject sat tests?

I have to take two sat subject tests in october, is this too late for ea/ed or rd deadlines??

Nope. In fact, you’ll have enough time to look at your scores and choose which ones to send.

Really? This will be october of my senior year.

RD you will be fine, and you should be ok for EA/ED, but you can check this on the website of each school you are interested in applying EA/ED to.

Yes you will. My friend was able to take them in October, check his scores and decide which ones to send into Harvard EA.

You’ll take the tests around a month before the deadline, and score take around 2-3 weeks to come in (I think), so you should have time.

what about my act score? i take act in september

Your ACT score should be fine, as well, writing might push it a little.

Have you tested before?

^nah you should be fine

yes, I’ve already taken the sat twice, but i want to try my hand at the act and my schools require two sat subject tests

You still might not want to count on ED/EA if you’ve never taken subject tests/ACT before because I knew few people who got scores they were happy with on the first try.

But some schools accept the November set of tests for EA/ED, so check with your specific schools. However, I don’t think you can review the November scores before sending them in that case.
