How late into your senior year can you take SAT Is and IIs? For Regular Decision? (UCs mostly) What about the regular deadline for other schools in general?

I need some advice based on your experiences:
How many times did you wish you had taken the SAT Is? At what time?

What time do you think is the best time to take SAT IIs corresponding to your AP classes? May or June? Why?

If you took precalc in your sophomore year and are now a junior in calc, what time would YOU take the SAT II Math IIC test? Why?

What about for colleges in general? Or do they vary widely?

So for UC's, if you take them in Dec you basically have sent your app first? Do you just leave the SAT score parts blank? Is there no need to "rush them" or something? (They will recieve automatically on time?)

If I dont' score the score that I would like this SAT, should I continue studying and take it during my junior year or put it off until the summer and fall of my senior year? I still need to study for SATs APs, and corresponding SAT IIs.

I would suggest putting it off until senior year because May Junior year is going to be way too hectic (in my opinion of course). You can always study/cram like hell over the summer and pwn the SATs in October. Heh. That's what I'd do.

if you think spring of your junior year is hectic, the fall of senior year is 1000x worse (for me, at least). Think internship, job, government project, senior project, 6 classes-2 APs, college class, 2 clubs (1 president of), sport, college apps etc. You don't want to be bothering with SATs while you're doing all of this (unless you're deciding to take an easy courseload and not many EC's). Believe me; I waited until today to take SAT IIs, and I'm definitely regretting it.

But if you have 5 AP tests/way too many other tests in the may of your junior year, i'd consider putting sats off until october, then sat iis in november/december.

What if I've already reviewed most of the Math IIC topics and just need to continue to refresh my memory until the next testing date? I also need to build up probability and geo skills (which are both on the SAT). So does it sound good to just prep for the jan SAT II? (the week of finals, unfortunately).

The thing is I don't think the SAT II is that hard to beat but I just wasn't really focused this time around. I need to work on pacing and strategy rather than knowledge (I reviwed like 2weeks already)

for UC's, if you can take SATs up until Jan of your Senior year, what do you put on your apps if you don't have a score? nothing? Do they evaluate your apps after January or something?

Is the SAT deadline for other colleges pretty much the same?
