how late in may is it okay to take the mcats?

I feel like I overlooked this somewhere in the forum, but my school doesn't end finals until like, May 30th. I really really don't want to take my MCATS during finals. I looked at the exam schedule for THIS year (I'll be taking them next year, but I'm assuming there really won't be any changes in the dates), and there's one on May 31st. Is this too late to take the MCATs considering I can start putting my app in June 1st? I want to get everything in as soon as possible, but as long as I get my primary apps in June 1st, can I wait on the score and still be okay?

why not take it in april, before all of your finals stuff?

I mean, if finals end on May 30 and the MCAT is on the 31st, you run into the same problem anyway -- having to study during finals. (Which, "back in the day," was normal.)

True. I wasn't sure about taking it in April because I don't know when the Kaplan course I'm planning on taking is going to end. Some of them end April, some of them end May. The test site near me doesn't always have both and won't always fit my availability. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
