Hi, Currently have a 169 LSAT and a 3.8 GPA. Am retaking the LSAT in December. Scores are due back Jan. 4. I was planning on applying Dec. 1 with an addendum that I am retaking the LSAT and then submitting the new score the day it comes back.
Is this too late in the cycle?
I recall taking the LSAT late in the calendar year and applying as soon as my score came, which I believe was December. It’s not too late. It seems unusual to apply and send a new score later, but if other people do that, go for it.
@NEbarnacle: I was in a similar position and I waited out the cycle. Part of the reason I did was that the more seats available the better my chances. The other was that merit aid is a fixed pot and it can run dry early. It was far cheaper to spend another year working than risk a bad cycle. I just applied the first day in the next.
